“Oh, I can’t log in. I forgot my password again”. Well, this is a worrisome situation that occurs in the life of every one individual. With so many log-in ids and passwords, it gets tough to manage and remember all. And nothing can be verse than forgetting your password early morning to mark your attendance.
Not anymore. ZingHR comes with a quick resolution —Forget Password. The age-old problem can be sorted with this easy-to-use functionality that allows you to reset your password instantly in 4 simple steps. This blog will act as a manual for you to better understand the process in a jiffy.
Step 1
On the login screen, enter the following details
- Company code
- Employee ID
- Password – oops! You don’t know that 😊 so click on- Forgot Password
Step 2
Here’s next. Now, a pop-up screen appears asking the following details
- Enter official email address
- Enter register mobile number
These can be official or/and personal. There’s an option for both.
Confirm the details by clicking on Send for the system to trigger a One Time Password (OTP)
Step 3
Check the entered email inbox for OTP from ZingHR. Use this OTP for resetting the password. Easy, right?
Step 4
Last but not least, step 4 needs you to enter OTP for validation. This will direct you to a new screen for new password generation. To create a secure password, make sure you follow the below-mentioned guidelines
- At least one capital letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
- Minimum 8 characters in length
Easy-peasy, your new password is set and the application ready for use.
Option 2
We have a swifter make through for this process – Mobile Application
Use Quick Pin on the app for quick punch in and punch out.
How? Just go to set Quick Pin option, enter your credentials and click “Send OTP”
Now enter the OTP received on email and mobile and click on “Verify OTP”
Lastly, verify your OTP with a 4-digit Pin that allows you to ‘Punch In’ and ‘Punch out’ even without a password.
